Games/Tournaments will be organized based on interest of participants, once the season begins. The season will run from September 2023 until March 2024. There will be no practices over winter break and practices will be cancelled on some, but not all long weekends. We will provide a more complete schedule in September.
****This registration system is new to everyone so please be patient but do let us know if you have any questions. Registration questions can be directed to Erin at: [email protected] and/or [email protected]
Please note:
*There is a $50 discount for registering 1 or more siblings from a family. Please use the promo code SIBLING when registering if this is applicable to you.
*The waivers and other RingetteBC required forms cannot be filled in (don't try to enter your initials or fill out names). Please read the information and sign in the large signature boxes.
*Adults who are unable to commit to the entire season and who wish to play on a drop-in basis, please email [email protected] for more information.
*We will be sending information e-mails through the RAMP system this year so please make sure the e-mail address you input is the one (or two!) where you would like to receive ringette-related communication.
If you register before Monday August 21st 2023 you will receive an early bird discount!
For Open/Masters/U19 players, we will all be charged full insurance so everyone who is registered as Open/Masters/U19 will be able to play in tournaments, scrimmages etc.. if they wish to. Tournament/travel fees will be collected in addition to GVRA registration fees for those wishing for these experiences. If you are 17/18 years of age, please register in the Open division as we will not have a separate U19 team.
**** If you are a MASTERS player, hoping to play on a Masters team, please register in that division on RAMP registration so we can see numbers. We are hoping to have enough for a Masters-specific team, but this is numbers-dependent.
Costs for the season:
Youth Early Bird fee until August 21st: $270
Youth standard fee (After August 21st): $300
Open/Masters/U19 Early Bird fee until August 21st: $370

Check out KidSport (https://kidsportcanada.ca ) and JumpStart (https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca ) if you need financial assistance with registration and to learn about what great opportunities they provide for youth to engage in sport!!!
Refunds: You are welcome to come out to try ringette one time, free of charge. After that, you will need to register and pay. If, after you have registered, you need to withdraw, case-by-case refund decisions will be decided upon by the Board of Directors. After insurance fees are paid to BC Ringette on October 15th, 2023 insurance fees of $110 are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Volunteering: As is the case for most sports associations, this is a volunteer run association. We are small but mighty and are really hoping to have a fantastic season and welcome new families to the sport we all love. Many hands make light work, so we will be counting on everyone to pitch in on at least one task throughout the season to support the association. This could be something as small as bringing treats to a year end practice or a larger task like taking on the role of team manager. When you register this year take some time to think about your unique strengths and what you love best about this sport and the community it creates! We’d love to provide you the opportunity to exercise those strengths and live those passions with a volunteer task this season !
Coaching: If you hope to assist as an on ice helper/coach again this year or for the first time please also register for the “staff” registration and input any coaching certifications you have. The RAMP system might make you select a division you would like to coach and a position/title. This is not necessarily what we will have available, but please just fill it out to the best of your ability. You will need a Police Information Check (which can be completed and uploaded after registration).
See you all at the rink!
